OUR DOG RULES
A few rules, for four-legged guests too.
So that everyone feels at home, on two legs or four, we ask you for a few things:
Everyone has their own bed. The dog bed is for your dog; the beds, chairs and sofa are for you.
Better together. It’s best to take your dog with you when you leave the apartment. You are liable for any damage and any resulting loss of rent.
Keep the lead on. The hotel grounds and the slope are not a dog toilet. Skiers and lots of children practise here, and they sometimes fall. Dogs must be kept on a lead throughout Obertauern.
The bone on the door. When your dog is in the apartment, please hang the bone on the door. Our team will then wait until you give the OK to clean.

OUT INTO THE SNOW
Out and about together.
For a morning walk, a long stroll in the afternoon or half a day out in the snow: right from the hotel and all around Obertauern, there are lovely winter walking trails that are great to explore with your dog.
To the Flubachalm: a walk straight from the hotel to the Flubachalm hut, where you can stop for a bite.
Along the World Cup trail: a loop beside the cross-country ski trail, starting at the Wenigeralm, right by the hotel on the road.
Gnadenalm circuit: from the front to the rear Gnadenalm and back, approx. 1 to 1.5 hours.
Gnadenalm – Südwiener Hütte: from the car park at the front Gnadenalm uphill to the hut, approx. 3.5 to 4 hours. If you like, hire a toboggan for the way back down.
Seekar: from the top of the pass past the sports centre and through the Hundsfeldmoor nature reserve to the Seekar, approx. 1 hour 20 minutes there and back.
Sonnhof: from the top of the pass via the sports centre to the Sonnhof, approx. 1 hour there and back.
Groomed or cleared, the trails change with the weather. Good footwear helps, and your dog’s paws will appreciate a little paw balm.
